Notice of Official Launch of “BluePay”

Launch of a next-generation payment infrastructure service powered by stablecoins

Maximal, Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Noboru Kakurai) ( https://maximal.jp/)

has officially launched “BluePay,” a next-generation payment infrastructure service powered by stablecoins, starting February 17, 2026.

This service is a payment infrastructure that supports both yen-denominated and US dollar-denominated stablecoins.

■ Background

With the advance of cashless payments and the digital economy,

payment infrastructure is increasingly expected to deliver “immediacy,” “low cost,” “transparency,” and “international interoperability”

more than ever before.

However, existing payment networks face structural challenges, including multi-stage settlement processes and high costs,

as well as inefficiencies in cross-border transactions.

Addressing these challenges calls for a new payment infrastructure that integrates fiat and digital currencies within a compliant framework.

■ About BluePay

BluePay was designed as a “hybrid payment infrastructure” that combines existing fiat payment systems with stablecoins such as JPYC and USDC, built in compliance with relevant laws and industry guidelines to balance regulatory soundness with technology.

By using stablecoins with limited price volatility, it enables fast, transparent payments and supports more efficient commerce, both in Japan and abroad, as well as the formation of new digital economic zones.

■ About the operating company

Maximal, Inc. ( https://maximal.jp/) is a fintech company that leverages AI and decentralized technologies to provide a next-generation payment and data infrastructure that connects with existing financial infrastructure.
